Listen to The Art of Plenty every Thursday to gain insights and inspiration to live a life you love.
Let's get into pressure cooking. More accurately, being in the pressure cooker. I'm sure you know by now that I am not talking about cooking. I'm talking about that place we experience when we start to step out and start creating change in our life. When we have moved out of thinking about wanting to do something and we actually start doing that thing.
When you're in the pressure cooker, you are implementing a new change in your life. And at first, there's a little bit of a honeymoon season. You feel excited because you are doing that thing that you've been wanting to do. And you're kind of getting your stride, right?
And then all of the sudden it starts crushing you, wearing you down; you get tired, stressed, or lose motivation. You start to feel the pressure or the strain from the new circumstance that you've created.
Today, we're going to talk about how you know when you’re under stress caused by the pressure cooker and the 4 things you can do to lessen the stress and back to your centered self.
